I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We sure did. But it's been busy, as I'm sure most of yours have been also. We still have one more Christmas dinner tonight actually. Then we'll be lounging indoors for a few days, especially with this cold winter weather.
Did you guys get some boxing day shopping done? I did some shopping at Sephora! If you missed their sale yesterday, it's still going on today. I've linked a few of my favorite products that are on sale. The Becca highlighter was $20! But it's gone already. So hurry, or you'll miss out!
Happy shopping!

My Favourite Drugstore Makeup
I've been meaning to make this post for a while now. I love makeup, and now that I'm a mom, I also love to save money, especially when buying things for myself so I can spoil my daughter. Also due to the fact that I no longer live in a city and I hate shopping for new makeup online, I've been trying out products from the drugstore. I have found some that I really love. And I have to admit, I am really picky with makeup and do love the more expensive brands (of course). So today I'm sharing with you the drugstore makeup I use pretty much daily for my every day look.
1. Maybelline Baby Skin Primer
2. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
3. NYX Micro Brow Pencil
4. Maybelline Blushed Nude Eye Shadow Palette
5. Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm
6. L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
7. The Balm Mary LouManizer Highlighter
8. Elf Bronzer and Blush Combo
9. Elf Blending Brush
10. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation
If you have any questions about the products, just leave me a comment and I'll reply!

My March Break Must Haves!
I hate cold weather. I mean, who really loves winter? I guess there are a few people that enjoy it. I myself need the warm sun on my face! I should have been born somewhere warm, like California. I'm originally from Windsor, Ontario where they have very mild winters. Barely any snow and lots of sunshine. You could call it the Florida of Canada, right mom?
Anyways, if you don't know me personally, I now live 4 hours north where the winters are the complete opposite! Tones of snow, high winds, and rarely any sun in the winter. It took me a few years to get used to the weather here. Well, to be quite honest, I still am not used to it. I'm not sure if I ever will be!
So getting to my point... I love going somewhere warm to vacation. But since having Addison we haven't gone anywhere. The last trip we went on actually was to get married in the Bahamas, which would be just over three years ago. I'm used to going somewhere warm once in the winter so I'm really looking forward to a vacation. No, unfortunately not this year...but next year. If I'm not pregnant again!
We usually go to Florida because it's a pretty short flight for us. But I have a list of other places I'd like to visit. March Break (in Canada) for most, is this week! (I know I'm so late with the blog posts). If you're lucky enough to be going somewhere warm then I have a few must have items for your trip! From makeup to swimsuits! The jean shorts are my favourite!
I myself will just have to wait for summer.

Ipsy! It's finally here! 🎉
So my Ipsy package has finally arrived! Yay!!
I've been waiting anxiously for this all week! Or two?
• This mascara is actually really good if you're looking for lengthy lashes.
Anyways, it comes in this pretty packaging:
And once opened you get a postcard and this cute makeup bag filled with goodies:
•I'm all for bronzers but this one was a bit too dark for my skin tone. Same for the blush. And I usually go for pink or peachy blushes.
• I didn't select fragrances on the survey but I still got some. I'll admit, this one smells really nice though. I love fresh, clean scents.
• Here's another item I didn't select on the survey. I'm not huge into lip liners or lipsticks unless I have a fancy event. I did try this one, and although it's not really a shade I would wear, it lasted all day and I felt was a good product. If you want a good lip liner that is.
• So here's a product I loved! You can never go wrong with a good lip balm. And bonus it's organic.
And that's it! I'm on the fence right now about Ipsy. I'll see what the June bag is like and then decide whether I want to cancel or not.
