Guest Room Revamp

If you follow me on Instagram you know I'm into white, white white, when it comes to home decor. So I thought it would be a nice change to step out of my comfort zone a little bit with our guest room. I love a good coastal vibe so that's what I'm going with right now.

What do you think?

I can't wait to share it once I'm done!

Pantry Organization

I finally did it, I organized our pantry! For those that don't know me, I'm a very organized person. So organizing is my thing. That would be like a dream job!

But anyways, I've been wanting to organize this pull out pantry since we moved in. Unfortunately we couldn't do a walk in pantry because we were maxed out of space on this floor, so keeping this small space organized was a MUST.

Here's the containers I used: Storage Containers

Happy organizing friends!

Valentine's Day Candy Charcuterie Board

I have been in full Valentine's Day mode over here. One of my favourite things so far has been this Valentine's Day candy charcuterie board. Mine may be different from the others that you see on Pinterest because it's free of all allergens! So it's dairy free, gluten free and and free of artificial colors, but still taste delicious! I'll link all the brands below.

FYI-The Zolli Pops actually clean teeth!

Yum Earth

No Whey

Smart sweets

Glee tarts

Enjoy Life

I usually buy my candy from Well.ca or iHerb

Hope you guys try these candies and love them as much as we do!!

New Years Eve Decor

Happy New Year's Eve friends! We've survived 2020. Let's pray 2021 is a bit better than this year.

Like Christmas, this holiday is a little different than the past ones. I wanted to make it fun for the girls so we're having our own little party tonight.

All NYE decorations were from Party City and Walmart.

DIY House Warming Gift

Hi friends! Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know it was a bit different for most of us.

We recently had friends of ours move two doors down so that was exciting! It's always nice having great neighbours! I put together a little house warming gift for them. Since I sell Young Living and use their products everyday, I thought I would give some of my favourite items as a gift.

The package included a Thieves cleaner. a linen spray and a Christmas hand soap.

Today I'm sharing how to make the DIY Thieves cleaner and the DIY linen spray for yourself or as a gift.

So let's get right to it!

DIY Thieves Cleaner

For this bottle I used a cap and half of the cleaner and filled the rest with water.
You can also add any essential oils you'd like.
Lemon is always nice and purification is perfect for a bathroom cleaner because it deodorizes odours.

I use this cleaner for everything! Kitchen counters, bathrooms, and even my floors and carpets.

DIY Linen Spray

5 drops of lavender essential oil
10 drops of orange essential oil
3 drops of ylang ylang essential oil
1/2 tsp rubbing alcohol
Fill the rest of the bottle up with water

Other item used:

This book is like the bible of essential oils. It has so many great recipes.

I love using these glass bottles. Add a cute label and they make your bottles look so fancy!

This box is from Homesense. I thought it was perfect because they can reuse it. And the stuffing inside was from Michaels.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

New Year's Eve Decor

I think we can all happily say goodbye to 2020. I'm trying to be hopeful that 2021 will be better than this year. 🤞

Here in Ontario, Canada we got the news that the whole province is going into lockdown (don't even get me started) We clearly won't be able to attend any New Year's Eve parties or get togethers. But I plan on decorating our home and making it a fun day for the girls.

So today I'm sharing some cute New Year's Eve decor I've found! Hopefully mine gets here in time! 😐

Do you have any fun New Year's Eve traditions? Usually we don't celebrate but this year it's a MUST!
