I used to be a hair stylist, but I developed an allergy from working with all the chemicals, so I only do hair on the side now. But I still love it.
I also love flowers. Anything to do with flowers. I wanted to actually open up my own flower shop, but the competition of an existing floral shop in a small town is too risky. So now I just have a huge flower garden, which I love.
I've also always loved the boho-hippie look with flowers in the hair. Living in a small town it was impossible to find a flower halo, so I decided to make my own. Once people saw them, they wanted to wear them also. And so Pretty Little Things was born.
Now that it's fall here in Canada, I've branched out into making floral letters! I have an L hanging in my office. I think they'd be adorable in a nursery also.
